Birds
of a feather flock to NBC gala
Crossing
Jordan's Jerry O'Connell said his brother Charlie is still blissfully
in love with Sarah Brice, the woman he chose on the most recent edition
of ABC's The Bachelor. "It's serious," Jerry said. "She's
moving out to L.A.; (they'll be) living together and she's close to
our family."
As for his
own girlfriend, O'Connell couldn't stop raving about Rebecca Romijn
and her starring role on a show slated for midseason — on WB.
"It's
typical of me to come to an NBC party and talk about a Warner Bros.
project, but Pepper Dennis is my favorite," O'Connell said. "Rebecca's
a modern-day Lucille Ball, and I'm really proud of her."
In a nod
to Romijn's blue X-Men character, Mystique, plans are underway to
have Pepper sprayed in the face with blue paint. O'Connell said Romijn
has just begun work on X-Men 3, which will involve "finding a
cure for mutants."
CROSSING
JORDAN NEWS
7/27/05
Fans of Crossing
Jordan have some surprises to look forward to in the new season. Woody
and Jordan will find new love interests, and look for another Las Vegas
crossover episode in October. Here are a few recent articles and a video
interview with Jerry and Jill.

INTERVIEW WITH JERRY AND JILL
Meanwhile,
actor Jerry O'Connell and co-star Jill Hennessy are getting new love
interests on "Crossing Jordan," but is it really because
the stars can't stand each other?
No -- O'Connell
and Hennessy are actually friends and are comfortable playing love
interests on the show. Although Jerry told us, "Last season we
had a kiss, and she slipped me a little bit of tongue."
"He
told you that?" Hennessy joked. "I told him not to say anything."

Also at
the Vegas bash was Canadian-born star Jill Hennessy, who shoots a
Crossing Jordan/Las Vegas crossover episode next week. "There'll
be a lot of hot and heavy action between Jordan and (Duhamel's character)
Danny McCoy," reports Hennessy. What is it with this guy? Sheesh.
Crossing
Jordan heads into a fifth season this fall and Hennessy says the writers
are going for broke. New love interests are being brought in for both
her character and Jerry O'Connell's Woody.
"At
the end of last season, I was really hoping Jordan and Woody would
seal the deal," says Hennessy. Fearing that they were painting
themselves into a Sam and Diane-sized corner, the writers have stirred
things up with new love interests for both characters, although "later
on, something will occur that's very interesting and bizarre and surprising,"
said Hennessy.

AND "LAS VEGAS" AS THEY TEAM UP FOR A SECOND CROSSOVER EVENT

STARS ALIGN
FOR CAST MEMBERS FROM NBC'S "CROSSING JORDAN" AND "LAS
VEGAS" AS THEY TEAM UP FOR A SECOND CROSSOVER EVENT IN OCTOBER
Dr. Jordan
Cavanaugh (Jill Hennessy), Detective Woody Hoyt (Jerry O'Connell),
Danny McCoy (Josh Duhamel) and Sam Jane Marquez (Vanessa Marcil) Team
Up Again
BURBANK,
Calif. -- July 24, 2005 -- Stars from two of NBC's most popular dramas
-- "Crossing Jordan" (Sundays, 10-11 p.m. ET) and "Las
Vegas" (Mondays, 9-10 p.m. ET) -- will team up again to solve
a multi-city murder in a second crossover event for broadcast on consecutive
Sunday and Monday dates in October.
Jill Hennessy
and Jerry O'Connell from "Crossing Jordan" will join Josh
Duhamel and Vanessa Marcil from "Las Vegas" in appearing
in both episodes.
The multi-city
crime begins on "Crossing Jordan" when a Las Vegas showgirl
shows up at the Boston morgue, sets a corpse ablaze -- and then hurls
herself out the window. She leaves behind one clue: an employee ID
card from the Montecito Casino in Las Vegas. Dr. Jordan Cavanaugh
(Hennessy) calls Danny McCoy (Duhamel), an acquaintance and Director
of Montecito Surveillance and Security, to help solve the mystery.
Together Jordan, Detective Woody Hoyt (O'Connell) and Danny follow
clues that reveal a heist is in the works in Boston.
When Woody
realizes that the strings are all being pulled by a mobster in Vegas,
he's on the next plane out and the mystery continues the next night
on "Las Vegas." Woody works with the Montecito Casino host
Sam Jane Marquez (Marcil) in Vegas while Jordan and Danny remain on
the case in Boston. As the clues are revealed, so are the mutual attractions
between the crime-solving duos.
Last season's
November 7-8 two-part crossover, "What Happens in Vegas...Dies
in Boston," generated the highest ratings of the season for both
dramas among adults 18-49. "Crossing Jordan's" 5.3 rating
matched the series' highest result since May 13, 2002 and "Las
Vegas'" 5.8 is the drama's second-highest rating ever.
"Crossing
Jordan" features a cadre of coroners eager to offer their forensic
skills in order to bring murderers to justice and offer closure to
the families of their victims. Under the guidance of Dr. Garret Macy
(Miguel Ferrer, "Traffic"), Hennessy (NBC's "Law &
Order") stars as Dr. Cavanaugh, a sexy, smart and fearless Boston
medical examiner with a checkered career past. Rounding out the talented
team of the Boston M.E.'s office are grief counselor Lily Lebowski
(Kathryn Hahn, "How to Lose a Guy in 10 Days"), forensic
entomologist "Bug" (Ravi Kapoor, "Gideon's Crossing")
and criminalist Nigel Townsend (Steve Valentine, "The Muse").
The coroners rely on Detective Woody Hoyt (Jerry O'Connell, "Kangaroo
Jack") to put in the legwork to hunt down the perpetrators of
the crimes they investigate.
"Crossing
Jordan" is from Tailwind Productions in association with NBC
Universal Television Studio. Tim Kring (NBC's "Providence")
is creator and executive producer; Dennis Hammer and Allan Arkush
are executive producers.
"Las
Vegas" is a fast-paced, sexy drama follows the elite Las Vegas
surveillance team charged with maintaining the security of one of
"Sin City's" largest resorts and casinos. Oscar and Golden
Globe Award nominee James Caan ("The Godfather," "Misery")
stars as Ed Deline, the head of the surveillance team for the Montecito
Resort & Casino. With his prot?g? McCoy (Duhamel, "Win a
Date With Tad Hamilton"), an ex-U.S. Marine and Las Vegas native,
they deal with a variety of security challenges. Molly Sims ("Starsky
and Hutch"), Nikki Cox ("Nikki"), James Lesure ("For
Your Love"), Marcil ("Beverly Hills, 90210") also starring
is new cast member Lara Flynn Boyle, who will portray the casino's
new owner next season. In another new addition, Rachael Leigh Cook
("She's All That") also will appear in a recurring role.
Creator Gary
Scott Thompson ("The Fast and the Furious") serves as executive
producer of "Las Vegas," along with Gardner Stern (NBC's
"Law & Order," "NYPD Blue"), Scott Steindorff
("The Human Stain"), Justin Falvey ("Rescue Me")
and Darryl Frank ("Rescue Me") for "Las Vegas,"
from NBC Universal Television Studio and DreamWorks Television.

HELPS REBECCA GET IN SHAPE FOR X-MEN
7/27/05
The July 18th
issue of People Magazine had this report on Jerry and Rebecca (thanks
to Tracey for the info).
Rebecca's
workout secret
Rebecca Romijn has the hots for her personal trainer. "He has
the most beautiful body I've ever seen?" she tells us. Not to
worry, the man helping her shape up for x-men 3 is her beau, Jerry
O'Connell. The couple have hit the gym daily since mid-June so that
Romijn can don her form fitting bodysuit to reprise the role of Mystique
in August. "I've had a great year with my boyfriend: I fell in
love and had a lot of romantic dinners," says Romijn, who admits
she wasn't exactly watching her figure earlier in the year. "It
was worth every last chocolate mousse and bottle of wine. But now
it's crunch time."

Rebecca Romijn were mentioned in a recent Cadillac auto article. To

Cadillac
provided free test drives in its vehicles -- from an Escalade to the
SRX and XLR -- to auction guests at the tony Calistoga Ranch.
NAPA VALLEY,
Calif. -- Wine connoisseurs who attended a multimillion-dollar wine
auction here last month didn't flinch at bidding up to $650,000 for
four bottles of wine and a dinner. But some in the high-brow group
at Auction Napa Valley had questions about spending far less on a
Cadillac.
GM also brought
some star power. Actors Rebecca Romijn and Jerry O'Connell served
as the company's guests at auction activities.
Romijn, who
starred in "X2," drives a complimentary Cadillac SRX. "I
love it," she said.
O'Connell,
who stars in television's "Crossing Jordan," recalled that
his father, who's British, vowed to "buy a Cadillac, a big one"
if he got enough money after he moved to America.
Today, O'Connell
said he passes his Cadillacs to his dad after driving them for a few
years.
Cadillac
provided more than a dozen complimentary vehicles and drivers to the
auction's top bidders to use during the event.
