MARC BLUCAS CAST IN FIRST DAUGHTER

Marc Blucas (Buffy the Vampire Slayer) has been cast opposite Katie Holmes to play the part of James Lansome in the movie "First Daughter." Jerry O'Connell wrote the original screen play for "First Daughter" and shares writing credits with Jessica Bendinger. Although Jerry had originally planned to play the part of James Lansome, he will now reportedly serve as executive producer on the movie. For more information visit IMDB.com.

The episode will air in July as one in a package of seven shows in which E! agreed to feature the 20-year-old Valparaiso native and his best friend. Upcoming guests include singer Jewel, actor Jerry O’Connell, Mila Kunis from “That 70s Show” and Freddy Rodriguez from the popular HBO hit, “Six Feet Under.”

UP FOR A ROLE IN "THE MASK II"

According to a report in the April 18th 2003 Ain't It Cool News, Jerry may be up for a role in "The Mask II."

Whilst being interviewed by The Age's Jim Schembri, Jerry O'Connell mentioned that half an hour after the interview he'd be having a phone call regarding THE MASK II. It seems O'Connell is up for the role in the Carrey-less sequel. Did he accept? Time will tell...

"SUNSET DIVISION"NOT PICKED UP BY NBC

NBC announced their new fall line-up on Monday May 12th, and unfortunately Jerry's "Crossing Jordan" Spin-off "Sunset Division" was not added to the schedule. (Thanks to Shari_Lynn for the heads up) To view the new fall schedule go to TheFutonCritic.com. Seeing that "Woody" was not written out of "Crossing Jordan" in the season finale, it remains to be seen if Jerry will return to the series for a third season. The third season of "Crossing Jordan" will be held until January due to series star Jill Hennessy's pregnancy. Early indicators had NBC bumping the series to Saturdays at 10:00/9:00c should it have returned in the fall.

Yes sir, I can boogie - Who needs a judge when you can win... a video captures Jerry O'Connell in action

That was some winning streak Jerry O'Connell was on last weekend. After cleaning up at the Golden Slipper on Saturday, the charming Hollywood star headed to Fox Studios to be a guest judge on Channel V's dance party show Room 208.

But the enthusiastic O'Connell was not content to sit on the sidelines. "I'm not here to judge, I'm here to compete," announced the star of Kangaroo Jack.

Still dressed in his racing attire, O'Connell stepped up on the podium, shook his booty and busted some moves.

Whoever was left to judge was clearly impressed, voting Jezza the winner. O'Connell picked up $1000 for his efforts which he donated to the Kids Help Line. He's made it very hard for other visiting celebs to top that performance.

I would say it ain't so, but unfortunately it is. And Jerry O'Connell's character Woody is going to be fingered as the culprit, even though he's as innocent as they come. So, the question now is...whodunit? I dunno.
