WHILE film fans were tuned into Hollywood yesterday, big-time action movie
producers Jerry Bruckheimer and Andrew Mason were keeping a low profile in
Sydney for their $121.5 million film Down and Under.

The assembled cast for the film includes Oscar-winning actor Christopher Walken
(Deer Hunter), Dyan Cannon, Jerry O'Connell (Jerry Maguire), Canadian
model-turned-actress Estella Warren and Anthony Anderson (Me, Myself & Irene).

The film includes a stunt involving a truck and a New York-style taxi, shot in Elizabeth
and Liverpool Sts. The story centres on two friends who fall foul of the Mob and are
sent here to deliver dirty money.

O'Connell, Walken, Bruckheimer and company had a weekend dinner at Cafe
Sydney and afterwards were only too happy to pose for Confidential's lensman and
sign autographs. Walken even brushed his limousine for a casual stroll home to his
harbourside hotel.

JERRY'S FAMILY ATTENDS THE TOMCATS PREMIERE

Check out the footage from the premiere of "Tomcats" at Hollywood.com and the official Tomcats web site. The premiere took place on March 28th, 2001 at the Universal City Walk in Los Angeles. Jerry was unable to attend because he is currently in Australia filming "Down and Under". Jerry's brother Charlie, his mother Linda and father Michael attended the premiere in Jerry's absence.
