Last February Jerry appeared on the talk show "Men are from Mars, Women are from Venus" to promote "Tomcats." This episode will re-air Friday, July 13th on Fox. Check your local listings for channel and show time.

JERRY O'CONNELL APPEARS ON AUSTRALIA'S "ROVE LIVE."

Jerry recently appeared on the Australia talk/variety show "Rove Live". Thanks to Maddy for giving us a recap of Jerry's interview:

Jerry was wearing a brown suit and a striped shirt... he was acting VERY
hyper, really excited about being on Rove. He was making heaps of jokes about Australian stuff.
He said of Coober Pedy something like "I like my women with teeth, not alot of teeth, just one or
two is enough..." It was something like that. Basically he was picking the shit out of the place, he
said it was scary...lol. He's like "No its great, but seriously don't ever go there."

He was talking about all the partying he's been doing down under. He drinks VB!!!! He was
picking on Aussie-speak. He said he didn't get it when we said "It's your shout" (this means your
turn to buy...as in drinks), lol so he literally shouted. Then he said he didn't get it when we said
"Taking the piss" this is an Aussie term that means ummm kind of picking on someone I guess. He
said he replied to someone who said "you're taking the piss" by saying no, I just went to the
bathroom...lol.

He said he went to Ayres Rock, but didn't climb despite having brought hiking boots...and stayed in
the gift-shop. He confessed to being a New York boy.

He said his parents are from England and New Jersey. He was taking off their accents. That was
funny. He was doing his Mum's accent and saying "Make sure you wear a suit tonight to the Rove
show."

He talked a bit about "Down and Under"... the plot sounds a little silly... and there is nothing worse
for us Aussies than American films that take the piss out of us (lol.) Howvere, it might be funny.

Jerry's hair was looking very brown... he looked different. Don't know if you guys have seen this
look. ....He was VERY enthusiastic...maybe nerves? I haven't really seen any tv interviews
with Jerry before so I don't know if this is how he usually acts... I usually just see transcripts.

He said he is leaving tomorrow "unfortunately". I'm not sure if this means leaving Melbourne or
leaving Australia... I'd guess Australia.

JERRY O'CONNELL GUEST STARS ON FOX'S "NIGHT VISIONS"

Aeryn and Kabaian found a news article about Fox's new summer series, "Night Visions" hosted by Henry Rollins. Jerry is among the actors featured as a guest star on the series. Here is the information from Fox.com:

Thursday, July 12th at 8PM/7C.

In the eerie style of The Twilight Zone, this gripping anthology series creeps from horror to
psychological drama to supernatural adventure, never letting up until the final bizarre plot twist. Hosted
by edgy musician-turned-actor Henry Rollins, Night Visions challenges notable directors and guest
stars to push the limits of their imaginations – and yours.

Each week, a new character will be subjected to the unknown tortures of their own mind. The
vignettes play upon basic human fears, but are sure to linger in memory long after the credits roll.
Guest stars for these chilling episodes include Aidan Quinn, Bridget Fonda, Jerry O’Connell, Natasha
Lyonne, Luke Perry, Thora Birch, Jason London, Gil Bellows and Jay Mohr, among others. Among the
featured directors are Joe Dante (Gremlins), Tobe Hooper (Texas Chainsaw Massacre), Nick
Gomez (The Sopranos) and Ernest Dickerson (Tales from the Crypt Presents: Demon Knight).

After a mind-bending two-hour premiere on July 12th, Night Visions airs Thursdays at 9PM/8C
throughout the summer on FOX.
