Crossing Jordan
Starts 9/25 10pm, NBC
Where
We Left Off: Jordan (Jill Hennessy) professed her love for Woody
(Jerry O'Connell) after he was shot and potentially paralyzed. But it's
too little, too late and he pushes her away. "Everyone knows Jordan
and Woody should be together," says executive producer Tim Kring.
"But the second we hook them up, we're in trouble."
Love
Hurts: While Woody is making a full recovery, he gets involved with
his psychologist, played by guest star Leslie Bibb (Popular). Meanwhile,
a heartbroken Jordan plays the field. "She's hopping in and out
of bed with anyone," Kring says. "After four years of being
completely chaste, she needs a little romance." One possible suitor
includes Josh Duhamel during a Jordan crossover with NBC's Las Vegas
in October.
The
Doctor Is (Back) In: After being fired for covering up evidence,
Dr. Macy (Miguel Ferrer) returns to the morgue to help catch a serial
killer.
Oscar-Winner
Alert: Tom Hanks may make a guest appearance during a special tie-in
with "The Da Vinci Code" when the film hits theaters in May.
Hottie
Alert: Other guest may include O'Connell's girlfriend, Rebecca Romijn,
and Ferrer's cousin, George Cloony
