Jerry does a U-turn on Geri

When you can persuade your man to come window-shopping - and he's still smiling by the end of it - you can be pretty sure he's smitten. Certainly, Geri Halliwell, 31, and her new man, US actor Jerry O'Connell, 29, looked very much together when they hit London last week.

The loved-up couple, who met while filming the movie Fat Slags, were spotted holding hands and chatting to autograph-hunters as they browsed the stores - perhaps looking for a new outfit for Jerry, who only seems to won one scuzzy T-shirt.

So imagine poor Gezza's dismay when her new boyfriend dismisses her as his "tour guide" as soon as he get back on American soil!

"I live in LA so it was nice to have a tour guide who knows where they are going in London," says O'Connell, who has reportedly left Geri feeling "confused" at his comments. "Geri and I had a lot of scenes together, so we spent a lot of time together on set and then off set."

Listen mate, next time you're in England and fancy going sightseeing we suggest you hop on one of those open-top double-decker buses! We can only hope this is Jerry's Chris Martin-esque way of dealing with questions about is private life.
