When Jerry O'Connell proposed to Rebecca Romijn on Sept. 17, no one was more surprised than his closest friends. "When they first started dating, Jerry complained that Rebecca was too wild," says an insider. "They almost broke up over it." But the gorgeous X-Men star, 32, promised to curb her party-girl ways. The insider says that once Jerry, 31, saw the change in her, he got down on bended knee. Still, his pals are skeptical. "He's a big pushover," says the insider. "We just don't want her to take advantage of him." Regardless of what his friends think, Jerry is planning to tie the knot with Rebecca in Long Island, N.Y., next spring or fall. |
